The whole of country might say that Telugudesam and Bharatiya Janata Party alliance is already over, but on paper there is nothing official till date. Highly placed sources now reveal that the seat-sharing pact will come to a conclusion by Monday evening to seal the deal between these two happening parties.
Enough indications are there that BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi wants to shake hands with TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu for a consolidated win in 2014 general elections. But the main issue is with seat sharing and as of now, BJP is demanding 9 MP and 55 MLA seats in Telangana region, while they want 6 MP and 20 MLA seats in Seemandhra as a seat-sharing pact for poll alliance. However, TDP is ready to give 8 MP and 40 MLA seats in Telangana, and made their mind to offer 4 MP and 15 MLA seats in the residue AP region post bifurcation.
It looks like the terms and conditions including this seat-sharing between TDP and BJP is just hairline away from wrapping up. By Monday evening, much clarity is expected including TDP-BJP officially declaring their alliance. Once number of seats are confirmed for sharing, then the exercised begins about which seat to be given away to BJP from TDP. That’s another gigantic task.
