Jagan’s judicial remand extended till Oct 3

Special CBI court here on Friday extended the judicial remand of YSR Congress President YS Jagan mohan Reddy till October 3, in connection with alleged disproportionate assets case against the Kadapa MP.

Jagan along with others accused, including his auditor V Vijay Sai Reddy, industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad and bureaucrat K.V. Brahmananda Reddy who are lodged in the Chanchalguda Central Prison, were produced before the court through video-conference which extended their judicial remand by another 14 days. The court had earlier on September 18 reserved its order till September 23 on Jagan’s bail plea.

The central agency has so far filed 10 charge sheets against Jagan and others in the case and five of these were filed this month itself.
