Wake up, Mr Kishan Reddy!

Wake up, Mr Kishan Reddy!

Wake up, Mr Kishan Reddy!

To all those who don’t know who Kishan Reddy is, let me introduce, he is the Andhra Pradesh state president of Bharatiya Janata Party. Ideally to begin with Kishan Reddy’s latest comment on principal opposition Telugu Desam Party has become a bolt out of the blue and he became a laughing stock in both public and political circles. Soothsayer Kishan Reddy predicted on Wednesday that TDP would be zero in the newly carved out Telangana State. He also claimed that BJP will not tie up with any political party and will fight the general elections on its own.

The latter one is welcome move but the fact of the matter is, your party is not in a position to take such decisions. The ground reality is that BJP is big zero in all the three regions of Andhra Pradesh. Out of Coastal Andhra, Rayalaseema and Telangana, BJP has an edge in Telangana as it has little base compared to other two regions but when compared to other political parties, BJP is seen no where in the contest. If UPA II keeps its promise and completes bifurcation process before 2014, then BJP would also lose that little base in Telangana, without a doubt.

You’re claiming to contest in all 296 constituencies of AP and stating that you won’t join forces with any regional parties in the state. But the truth is you can’t be choosers. Frankly speaking, you are in dire need of the support of TRS in Telangana and TDP in Seemandhra. While TRS may not join with you as it won’t help TRS much, TDP is mulling its options considering to defeat Congress in the Centre but not because of its love on your party. Truth to be told, no other party in the state, including YSR Congress, is not ready to join  hands with BJP. Above all, TDP has a strong foothold in Telangana region, also in Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema, as its cadre is deeply rooted. The popularity of the party might have come down little in the T-region, but going to be a white wash for a party like TDP is out of question.

The only ray of hope for your party is your Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi as he has humongous fan following among youth. If you make these kind of silly statements time and again, Narendra Modi would shell out a hefty price in Andhra Pradesh. Hope you realize the facts and won’t play spoilsport with your words there by killing the chances of Narendra Modi to occupy PM seat. So, it’s time for you to wake up, Mr Kishan Reddy. – See more at: http://www.gulte.com/news/23006/Wake-up-Mr-Kishan-Reddy#sthash.An2Kazi4.dpuf
