Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy who recently met the AK Antony Committee in Delhi informed to the Seemandhra ministers that High Command is in a dilemma over the status of Hyderabad and currently considering the proposals which aren’t acceptable to the people of Telangana. “Home Ministry is likely to prepare a cabinet note on Telangana without mentioning about its capital or the status of Hyderabad. The note will be sent to the state government and a resolution will be moved in Assembly by the end of September in this regard,” CM said to Cabinet Colleagues.
Although AK Antony Committee asked him for a solution on Hyderabad, CM Kiran reminded the members about his caution to Congress Working Committee (CWC) about the problems that would arise before the July 30th announcement itself but the high command ignored them. He finally said it’s the responsibility of CWC to resolve the sensitive issue.
CM Kiran conveyed to the ministers that there is no necessity to resign to their posts as of now as they will be missing the opportunity to defeat the Telangana bill in Assembly. However, few leaders expressed the opinion it’s better to prevent the T-resolution from coming to the Assembly with mass resignations.
