Hyderabad: Sensing the ongoing agitation against the bifurcation of state in Seemandhra region will continue till next general election, the TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu has decided to embark on another round of state visit by ‘Bus Yatra’ from August 25.
According to party leaders, Naidu will kick start his yatra from North Coastal Andhra . The venue to launch bus yatra is yet to be decided but shortlisted the two districts – Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts. During the yatra, Naidu will visit all Assembly constituencies which were not covered in his ‘Vastunna Meekosam’ padayatra ended recently.
Sources said Naidu will ally apprehensions raised on the party’s stand on the division of state by seemandhra people and also clarify doubts under what circumstances the party supported Telangana cause. The TDP leader will meet the organizations which were fighting for united Andhra and extend party’s solidarity to their agitation.
Before kick starting his yatra, Naidu will hold final round meeting with his Telangana and Seemandhra leaders on August 23 and 24 and seek their suggestions on how to make success the yatra.
Speaking to newsmen here, party senior leader E Dayakara Rao said Naidu will first visit seemandhra and then Telangana. He said the party , however, did not change its stand on telangana and committed to the cause.
