Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev on Thursday met TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu who is on an indefinite fast protesting the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. Apart from extending his support, Baba accused Congress party of indulging in match-fixing over the Telangana issue.
Ramdev claimed he is neither against United Andhra Pradesh or Telangana statehood. He felt several issues like status of Hyderabad, water sharing, electricity, natural resources and others have to be resolved before dividing the state. He, however, didn’t mention with which party (TRS or YSR Congress) ruling party has formed a secret alliance.
Baba Ramdev described the July 30th announcement as unjustifiable and only done for the political gains. He left the fast venue after holding conversation with Naidu for nearly 30 minutes.
Later, Babu responded, “Baba Ramdev visited & supported my fight for justice to all regions of AP. I am thankful to him for his kind gesture”.
