New Delhi:The Supreme Court in its ruling yesterday stated that the parliament had the power to bifurcate the state. But not the state Government.
After the verdict of the Supreme court, UPA Chair person Sonia Gandhi seems to make the Telangana bill pass in the parliament.
Sonia Gandhi made a rare speech in Parliament yesterday while defending the food security bill and appealing to the legislators to wholeheartedly support the BIll to uplift the poor in the country. The food security bill, though needed much clarifications was passed in the parliament.
Related to Telangana too, many clarifications are sought by the Seemandhra people before bifurcating the state. Will Sonia follow the same strategy for Telangana Bill (Without discussing the clarifications, Telangana bill to be passed in parliament).
